Welcome to the IECP

If you are planning on attending Penn State or another American university but would like to improve your English, you’ve come to right place! Since 1976, the IECP has been Penn State’s premier intensive English program, offering courses in academic English to prepare the pre-matriculated student for undergraduate and graduate studies at an American university.  Experienced faculty engage students in a cutting-edge, comprehensive curriculum which includes grammar, oral communication, listening, reading, writing, and test skills in addition to providing opportunities to connect with current Penn State students and classes.

  • Students warned of email scam On May 26, 2017 Penn State's Office of the Bursar is alerting students to an email scam. A number of Penn State students have received emails that appear to come from "admin@psu.edu." The email requests verification of billing information and includes a link that asks for banking or credit card information. This email was not sent by Penn State.
  • University Staff Advisory Council honors outstanding staff On May 24, 2017 Penn State President Eric Barron and his wife, Molly, welcomed the 2017 winners of the Penn State University Staff Advisory Council Awards to Schreyer House for a celebration of staff’s accomplishments and contributions to the University. About 60 staff members were nominated for the awards by their colleagues across the Commonwealth. The awards committee chose one recipient in each of three categories.

It’s very common advice given by doctors for those suffering from high blood pressure. Your body only needs a small amount of sodium to work properly, but too much sodium can be bad for your health.
