If you are planning on attending Penn State or another American university but would like to improve your English, you’ve come to right place! Since 1976, the IECP has been Penn State’s premier intensive English program, offering courses in academic English to prepare the pre-matriculated student for undergraduate and graduate studies at an American university.  Experienced faculty engage students in a cutting-edge, comprehensive curriculum which includes grammar, oral communication, listening, reading, writing, and test skills in addition to providing opportunities to connect with current Penn State students and classes.

  • Penn State mourns passing of Alan Walker On Nov 22, 2017 The Penn State community is mourning the death of Alan Walker, Evan Pugh Professor Emeritus of Anthropology and Biology and one the leading anthropologists and evolutionary biologists of his generation, who passed away on Nov. 20.
  • Global libraries exhibit helps Pattee Library visitors travel world virtually On Nov 22, 2017 A new Penn State University Libraries exhibit, “Academic Libraries Around the World,” will be open through Jan. 15 in Pattee Library, on the University Park campus. The exhibit, celebrating international academic libraries and the field of library science, features visual highlights of academic institutions on every continent except Antarctica, and is free and open to the public.
